Adult Learners' Week
Adult Learners’ Week usually takes place the first week of April every year to acknowledge and celebrate the determination, commitment, motivation, resilience, and courage of adult learners.
In 2024, Adult Learners' Week took place from March 31st to April 6th. We at Literacy Quebec invite you to celebrate the importance of lifelong learning every year during this special week! The achievements made by adult learners who continue to practise both new and old skills is important and honourable. Adult Learners’ Week highlights the value of learning no matter your educational background, as growth and knowledge foster a more equitable society and lead individuals to live more fulfilling lives.
To honour those who continue to learn and to help you celebrate, we have created a kit with a poster, a conversation prompt sheet, and an activity suggestion sheet.
